Quick Answer: Every Sandbar Cat 5 Hurricane sealing project includes a written 1-Year Paver Care Plan: if the sealer peels, flakes, or loses joint stabilization within 12 months from normal use, we re-seal the affected areas at no charge. The plan also includes free joint-sand touch-up with ASTM C-144 compliant sand and a courtesy efflorescence inspection at the 6-month mark. It’s printed on your estimate and published word-for-word on our Service Terms page — ask any other quote you’re comparing to put their warranty in writing.

Paver sealing is one of the easiest services in Tampa Bay to get burned on. Sealer applied over damp pavers turns hazy. Cheap product laid on thick peels in the sun. Joints sanded with the wrong material wash out by the second summer. And when it happens, the installer’s phone number suddenly stops working.

What the 1-Year Paver Care Plan covers

Cat 5 Hurricane Performance Guarantee. If the sealer peels, flakes, or loses joint stabilization in the first year from normal use, we re-seal the affected areas at no charge. Not a discount on redoing it — no charge.

Joint sand touch-up. Florida rain works joint sand loose. The plan includes free re-sanding of any joints where normal weather or wear causes loss — one service visit included if joint loss exceeds 10% of the total area — using matching ASTM C-144 compliant joint sand so the repair looks like the original job.

Efflorescence check + spot clean. That white haze that can bloom on pavers? At the 6-month mark (or earlier if you ask), we come inspect, and spot treatment of any efflorescence is included — we soft wash the affected areas only.

What it doesn’t cover (told to you up front)

Honesty is the other half of a real warranty. The plan doesn’t cover oil stains, rust, tire marks, flood damage, or pressure-washer damage by others — and full re-sands, stain removal from cars or grills, damage from hurricanes, tree roots, or irrigation leaks, and whole-surface re-seals are quotable but not included.

Your side of the deal: no pressure washing over 1200 PSI on sealed pavers, clean spills within 48 hours, keep sprinklers from hitting the pavers daily, and call us before trying any DIY fix.
